Joy Fantastic
Excited to announce that I have my very first gallery representation with Joy Fantastic!
Joy Fantastic are one half of Nothing Fantastic, a hybrid art gallery slash record store (with Nothing Ventured Vinyl) based in Southsea, Portsmouth. Love the vibe in this place, really welcoming and relaxed - there’s a DJ plying his trade, punters flipping through vinyl and a people coming in off the street to view pieces from amazing artists like Davey Newton, Maxine Gregson, Ben Rider and Maria Rivans, to name a few. What could be better?
I had the pleasure of meeting owner Lewis Darvill and store manager Tom Gould - really lovely, genuine guys who clearly have a passion for music and art.
Along with my Neo Geo, Woozy, Meander, and Hex screen prints, Joy Fantastic will be stocking ‘Don’t push me’ a limited edition screen print celebrating 42 years since the release of The Message by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Blending art and music - see what I did there?
And of course, I bought some vinyl on my way out.
Looking forward to seeing my stuff up in the shop and on their website. Exciting times!
